Dan is originally from England.  As a youth player Dan grew up playing for Coggeshall Town FC where he continued to play from the ages of 7 to 18.  He continued his playing career for Braintree College (England).

Since moving to the United States Dan has coached at all youth levels starting with Livonia City Soccer club before joining the Wolves staff in 2007.  During this time Dan has also served as a head coach for the MSYSA Olympic Development Program.

Dan currently holds the United Soccer Coaches 'Premier' Diploma, US Soccer 'C' License, US Youth Soccer's 'National Youth' License, the Coerver Coaching Diploma and the AC Milan Youth Director License.
